We’re excited to have again been chosen as a finalist for the Asia Pacific Financial/Corporate Consultancy of the Year as part of the prestigious SABRE Awards.

It is the fourth year in a row Purple has been a finalist at the SABRE Awards, at which we were named the Australasian Consultancy of the Year in 2015.

The SABRE Awards, established by leading international public relations expert Paul Holmes, are the world’s largest PR awards programme and recognise superior achievement in branding and reputation across Asia-Pacific (including Australia), North America, Latin America, South Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Judges noted our growth to be one of Australia’s biggest corporate consultancies and highlighted our continued move beyond traditional strengths in investor relations and corporate affairs.

“The firm added a Brisbane office last year, underlining an expansionary mindset by developing multiple new service offerings including a new content hub, hiring a chief innovation officer and overhauling its data insights and community engagement teams,” the Holmes Report’s assessment of Purple stated.

“The firm remains chaired by experienced Australian businessman [and former Deloitte Australia Chairman] Keith Jones and CEO Annette Ellis, who oversee a culture that continues to focus heavily on family.”

Managing Director Warrick Hazeldine said he was delighted Purple was in the running for another SABRE Award.

“The past two years represent a period of extremely strong growth for Purple and we’re all proud to again be shortlisted for this very significant SABRE award,” he said.

“To be judged a finalist reflects our strong focus on starting and shaping conversations that matter, the skills and commitment of our staff and also the calibre and loyalty of our client base.

“We continue to grow our service offerings and geographic footprint to meet their growing needs.”

Purple has also been shortlisted for a Branded Journalism Diamond SABRE Award for our content and thought leadership hub The 268.

The 268 was also awarded a certificate of excellence in the Brand Digital Platforms category of the IN2SABRE Awards in 2019.

The winners of the consultancy of the year and Diamond SABRE awards will be announced at an event in Singapore on September 12.
