Purple is a finalist for a global SABRE Award for the top corporate/financial consultancy.

We’re once again delighted to report that Purple is a finalist in the Asia-Pacific SABRE Awards in the category of Corporate/Financial Consultancy of the Year.

We were fortunate enough to win this category last year and be named a finalist in the 2019 global SABRE Awards.

The SABRE Awards, established by leading international public relations expert Paul Holmes, are the world’s largest PR awards programme and recognise superior achievement in branding and reputation across Asia-Pacific (including Australia), North America, Latin America, South Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Managing Director Warrick Hazeldine said it was exciting to be recognised among the region’s best corporate communications firms again – particularly in a year in which businesses across the spectrum, and across the globe, had faced the most significant challenges in recent memory.

“It’s been a year like no other, both for our team who have proved incredibly resilient, and for our loyal clients who stuck fast in difficult circumstances,” he said.

“We’re proud and humbled to again be in the running for this award.”

Judges noted the growth in the Purple team across the past 12 months, with additions including Jenn Morris, a former partner at Deloitte who joined as national director strategy, and Brianna Kent, our first-ever people and culture manager, who will continue to build on the firm’s family-focused and flexible work practices.

“While financial communications and government affairs remain the core strengths, the firm has continued to innovate, adding a stakeholder engagement team, with special skills in Indigenous engagement, reflecting the growing importance of the social license to operate,” judges said.

“Purple also grew its media intelligence and content creation capabilities, and established a digital team to focus on website design and maintenance.”

Other finalists in the category are:

  • APCO Worldwide
  • Honner
  • Redhill
  • SenateSHJ

Consultancy of the Year winners will be announced at the 2020 Asia-Pacific SABRE Awards, which this year will take place virtually on September 24.
