We are delighted to continue our growth in key market areas, with the appointments of engagement specialist and Senior Consultant Jordin Payne and Consultant David Mano.

Jordin joins Purple’s Corporate Affairs team, having moved from Murdoch University, where she was an engagement and communications co-ordinator in the Kulbardi Aboriginal Centre and focussed on partnerships with the community, recruitment and event management.

She is a proud Nimanburr woman and traditional owner from Broome Western Australia, with ancestral ties to Yarwuru, Djugan, Nyul Nyul and Bardi groups on the Mid Dampier Peninsula.

David, meanwhile, returns to Purple’s Government Relations team, in which he interned in 2018 as part of a combined degree in marketing/public relations and law at the University of Notre Dame.

“Jordin’s ability to build and maintain relationships and engage positively with stakeholders are key attributes that will be welcomed by our clients,” Purple Managing Director Warrick Hazeldine said.

“Purple is already an acknowledged leader when it comes to managing stakeholder and community relationships, leading complex engagement activities on the $91.5 million Matagarup Bridge that links Perth city to Optus Stadium and playing a pivotal role in the establishment of the Noongar Chamber of Commerce of Industry.

“With her background in Indigenous engagement, Jordin will work closely with Charlie Wilson-Clark and our other IAP2-accredited staff members Renee Wilkinson and Sarah-Jane Dabarera.

“David impressed us greatly during his time as an intern and we welcome him back.

“His analytical skills, logical thinking and work ethic will make him a valuable member of our Government Relations team and his attention to detail will be valued by our clients.”

David re-joins a Government Relations team led by National Director Karen Brown, with Associate Directors Renee Wilkinson, Jennifer Kirk and Tim Grey-Smith and Special Counsels Richard Harris and Paul Vogel.

Purple is one of Australia’s leading, fully-integrated communications consultancies, offering expertise in government relations, investor relations, corporate affairs and design and digital.

Since opening in Perth in 2004, it has grown to a staff of 40 and is Perth’s biggest public relations business with the largest team of registered lobbyists in the state.

Purple also has a national and international footprint through cornerstone shareholder WPP AUNZ (ASX: WPP) and in October opened a Brisbane office led by investor relations expert Peta Baldwin.
